Answers:
1. John 3:16 is a very well known passage, but not many know who Jesus was speaking to at the time. Read John 3 to see the conversation that Jesus had with Nicodemus.
2. Light - Psalm 119:130
3. Mount Horeb - This is before the exodus from Egpyt, and can be found in Exodus 3:1-2. Horeb means 'desert' or 'desolation'.
4. Genesis 17:5 - God made a covenant to make Abram (exalted father) the father of many nations (Abraham - father of many).
5. King Darius - Daniel 6 - The Medes had taken over the kingdom by now after Belshazzar was slain. Darius took the throne at the age of 62 (Dan 5:30).
6. Pison or Pishon; Gihon; Hiddekel; Tigris; Euphrates - Genesis 2:10-14 lists the rivers. Pison (KJV) is often spelt Pishon in other translations. Hiddekel (KJV) is often translated as Tigris. Euphrates is often known as simply 'the River' because of its size and importance (1 Ki 4:21,24)
